Disc Golf started with a simple idea in the 1960’s when frisbees were all the rage! Players would target light poles and trees to see who could make it ‘hit’.  

Then along came the seventies! Frisbee lovers honed their target skills and disc golf officially began. Courses were created with metal baskets and the game gained popularity amongst those who wanted a greater challenge than regular frisbee could offer. 

From a hobby created by hippies to professional leagues, disc golf has a growing fan base and technology has enhanced disc capabilities and flight distances.
